Georgia Koloniari is a Lecturer at the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki since 2013. Previously, she was a member of the Distributed Data Management Laboratory (D.M.O.D.) at the University of Ioannina. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science of the University of Ioannina in 2009. She also holds a B.Sc (2001) and an M.Sc. (2003) both from the Computer Science Department of the University of Ioannina.
Her research interests focus on the area of management of distributed data (p2p systems, XML data) and currently on managing and mining social data: modeling and storing graph-structured data, social network evolution, mining historical graph data.
