Short Bio

Soultana Karga graduated from the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the same Department in 2007. From 2006 up to 2014, she was working as an informatics educator in primary schools, in the Public Vocational Training Institutes within the Organization of Vocational Training and Education and also in the Second Chance Schools within the Institute for Continuing Adult Education. From 2007 up to 2015, she was a member of the research and development team of the Parallel and Distributed Processing Laboratory of the University of Macedonia. Most specifically, she was working for the Asynchronous Distance Learning service of the Greek School Network (GSN) and also for the Learning Activities Management service of the GSN. From 2014 up to date, she is working as an e-learning technologies administrator at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the same time, she is a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia.
